A NEW SEASON

‘Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people.... This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare my praise. Isaiah 43v 18,19, 21

In life there are seasons ordained by God in which humanity is supposed to receive new things. It started with your family receiving a new baby that’s you I’m talking about. You then started drinking a new substance –your mother’s milk. You moved to new food called porridge etc. Even at the end of age, God will make a new heaven and a new earth. Appreciate that life is a series of new things. Be of good cheer, God is in it and you wont miss the new things from heaven. Welcome to a new season called 2010.

It is a privilege and great grace of God that we are now in a New Year. God has granted us a great opportunity to be in a NEW season. A season you can choose to receive new miracles from God, new financial opportunities, new levels of operation (promotion). It’s up to you to choose if 2010 is a new year or it’s a continuation of miserable years you had last year(s).What a tragedy if you choose the latter.

We are now in a new season. Like farmers we need to sow new seeds that at the end of the season (2010) we will have a bumper harvest. Let’s sow new seeds, new seeds of diligence, excellence, mercy and faithfulness in all our dealings especially with our spouses (no small houses).Sow new seeds of generosity, positivity and expectancy. As sure as my name is Gift I know for sure that God will make you to have a different year if you sow such wonderful seeds.

God is doing a new thing in 2010. He is turning what was impossible previously to become very possible in 2010.Only believe it. Your year of your promotion which is already overdue is 2010. Your year of becoming healthier is 2010.Your year of passing that difficult module is 2010.Your year of enjoying your marriage is 2010.Your year to buy a new car is 2010.Your year of your restoration is 2010.Your year of shedding tears of joy is 2010.Only believe it and in December you will be out of breath because of what God would have done for you. You will be singing,’ ‘What a mighty God we serve.’ Glory to God for showing such great compassion, mercy and grace to imperfect beings just like you and me. I declare boldly ‘2010 IS OUR YEAR.’ The heavens have finally remembered us.

If you think 2009 was very good for you such that you fear you wont see such favour in 2010 let me tell you in American English, ‘You ain’t seen anything yet.’ What eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man is what the Lord has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2 v 9).God wants to take you to the point where everyone acknowledges that God has blessed you. A point you are not just blessed but to a point you are a blessing yourself. God wants to make you more than what He did to Isaac who sowed and reaped a hundredfold in a famine. The Bible goes on to say, ‘And the man Isaac waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great, for he had great possessions of flocks, and possession of herds and great store of servants and the Philistines envied him. (Genesis 26v13,14). My friend God is a great God. He is no respecter of persons. Whatever He did to Abraham, Isaac, David, Solomon and Paul He can still do it for you in 2010. Only believe and confess so.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue…Proverbs 18v21.Confess positive things this new season. Stop confessing ‘Zvakapressa’ instead say, ‘God will make all things beautiful in His time. In any challenging situation, its heaven setting me up for for a divine promotion.’ Surely God can’t make you cross-over to 2010 just for you to have another terrible and disgusting year. God has a great plan for you, a plan to prosper you, not to harm you but to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29v 11). God will be with you as long as you are with Him in 2010. I am confident than ever before - God will make you to fore-taste heaven in 2010. Glory be to God.

In 2010 you will not labour in vain (Isaiah 65v23). God will watch over his word, ‘…. a labourer deserves his wages.’ (Luke10v7 & 1 Timothy 5 v18). In 2010, as prophet Isaiah proclaimed in chapter 3 v 10,’…it shall be well with the righteous,’ surely it shall be well with you. David said it right in Psalm 65v 11, ‘You (God) crown the year with your goodness and your paths drip with abundance.’ Which year is in question here? Guess. You are right it’s the year 2010. Surely, ‘….the year of the redeemed has come.’(Isaiah 63v 4).
